At Pineview Preschools we encourage parent involvement because we believe it is essential in order to build a strong partnership between our parents and teachers.  Parents are invited to spend time in the classroom by reading to children, volunteering for special events, holiday parties, attending field trips, and participating in charitable events with the children. 

Parents are kept informed of their child’s progress and developments through progress reports, developmental screenings and parent-teacher conferences.  Since it is not always possible for a parent to spend time in the classroom due to work and time constraints, we use other avenues of communication such as weekly newsletters, monthly calendars, notice boards, and room parent representatives to keep our parents informed.

Because we value our parent feedback on our program, parents are given the opportunity to submit comments and suggestions by completing program evaluation each year.  Our parents’ suggestions and feedback enable us to improve our program each year in order to meet the needs of our students and offer the highest quality in early childhood education.
