About Us: Parent Involvement
Pineview Preschools Parents

At Pineview, we encourage parent involvement, because we believe in forming strong partnerships with our parents and families to ensure the success of our students' learning experiences. Parents are invited to spend time in the classroom, whether it's volunteering during special events or reading a story to the children.

  • Parents are kept informed of their child's progress and development through progress reports, conferences and Ages & Stages developmental screenings
  • Our website features a password secured parent portal
  • Each classroom has a private web page for communication of lessons, events, pictures and videos of children's weekly activities
  • Monthly calendars, lunch menus and other important information is sent via email and posted on our website within the parent portal
  • Voluntary Room Parents have the unique opportunity to get to know the teachers and students and to serve Pineview Preschools in ways that are greatly appreciated
  • The Room Parents coordinate volunteers and support the classroom teacher during special events and holidays
  • Other volunteering opportunities include: chaperoning field trips, holiday events, charitable events and a weekly reader program in classrooms

Because we value our parent feedback about our program, parents are given the opportunity to submit comments and suggestions, by completing a program evaluation each year. Parent suggestions and feedback enable us to improve our program each year and meet the individual needs of our students
and families.
